Introducing the next level of
performance designed products from Mongoose racing chassis, the 2008 Gravity.
2008 marks a turning point for the already highly competitive line of chassis.
The Gravity comes equipped with a extremely user friendly rear cassette design
that allows the axle to be extracted from the go kart in a matter of seconds.
Our one of a kind pill system allows for wedge and lead adjustments to still be
made from the rear of the kart. The single pill design eliminates the need to
purchase and keep track of multiple pills, yet still offers the axle to be moved
0, 1/16, and 1/8 in increments with minimal effort. The larger rear axle
bearings provide a higher tolerance to binding under extreme loads equaling more
corner speed. And the hinged upper cassette cap keeps the upper and lower
cassette half's matched at all times.
The rear end of the kart isn't the
only significant changes made to the 2008 offering. The tubing configuration as
been adjusted to optimize performance under all track conditions equaling an
overall free'er go-kart. The prototype of the 08 Gravity has won races at a
local, state, and national level, including some substantial wins in larger
money races across the North east.
The 2008 Gravity is the result of the most vigorous testing and development
process in M.R.C. history, and is available in four different packages.
-Gravity standard kit, the standard
kit comes with all the highest quality parts our customers are accustomed to.
Including, mini lite brake kit, all black anodized components, toe lock,
aluminum spindle nuts, open top steering wheel, our new style rear cassettes
with large diameter rear axle bearings, and easy to adjust front L-block design.
-Gravity competition kit, The
competition kit comes equipped with everything listed above, as well as a M.R.C. body
kit, (Sr. or Jr.) any size seat, and a steering faring w/ bracket.
-(New for 2008) Gravity Pro-Kit, The pro kit is our competition kit but with all
the high end upgrades the industry has to offer. Floating brake, and sprocket
hubs, ultra light axle and front wheel hubs, high strength front chromoloy heim
ends, motor mount, sprocket guards, axle collars, throttle linkage kit, and our
new "ultra roll" rear axle bearings.
-Gravity Budget Kit. As the cost of
racing continues to increase, and the budget the average racer has isn't, we've
added a new model of the 2008 Gravity. The budget kit doesn't offer our newly
designed rear axle cassettes. Standard brake kit replaces the mini lite system,
non-adjustable cassettes with small diameter bearings are standard, and some
other small cut backs make the budget kit a more affordable version of the 2008
Gravity.
